She was receiving an honour at the 39th annual Cesar Awards on Friday evening in Paris.

So it’s no surprise that Scarlett Johansson wanted to share the special moment with the person closest to her – fiancé Romain Dauriac.

And it seems the French journalist was more than happy to support his wife-to-be and was seen holding her hand as they sat side by side at the Chatelet Theater.

Scarlett wore her hair off her face in a sleek side ponytail and a slick of deep red lipstick added the final touch to her look.

Beside her Romain looked just as dashing wearing a black tuxedo and bow-tie, while he gave his look a slightly edgier feel with a pair Dr Martens.

Scarlett couldn’t have looked happier as she posed with her Cesar of honour award, after being presented with it by director Quentin Tarantino. Her bronzed stilettos also stood out as they featured a glitzy toe detail that matched her clutch bag perfectly.
